Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is a skills-based approach that is designed to give the client practical skills and approaches to improve their emotional regulation skills, sense check their perceptions of their life, and increase their resilience to life's ups and downs.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy empowers the client to discern what events or aspects of life need to be accepted without changing or judging. The goal of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is to create more psychological flexibility and can enable clients to free themselves from stuck thoughts and hooked thinking styles.
